ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS City of Savage, MinnesotaCity of Savage has implemented online project bidding using the Quest Construction Data Network, ONLY electronic bids will be accepted through www.questcdn.com. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals will be accepted via the online electronic bid service through QuestCDN until 10:00 a.m. on the 4th day of March 2026. Electronic bids will be publicly opened at Savage City Hall located at 6000 McColl Drive, Savage, Minnesota 55378 at the said time and place by two or more designated officers or agents of the City. The responsibility of the bidders will be considered along with the bids by the City Council at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as scheduled on March 16, 2026 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall. Said proposals to be for furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction, complete in place, in accordance with plans and specifications for the following: City Project No. 26-01 2026 Street Improvement Project Major Items Contract Items Qty Unit Full Depth Reclamation 42,745 SY Common Excavation 2,800 CY Replace Gate Valve Bolts 30 EA Sod 4,950 SY Bituminous Wear Course 4,100 TN Bituminous Non Wear Course 5,750 TN Concrete Curb and Gutter 11,200 LF Concrete Walk (4" and 6") 2,062 SY Stabilizing Aggregate (3" Minus) 1,020 TN Class 5 Aggregate Base 1,020 TN Storm Sewer Structures 23 EA Storm Sewer 1,430 LF Plans and specifications, proposal forms and contract documents may be viewed on www.QuestCDN.com. A Contractor responding to these Bidding Documents must submit to the City/Owner a signed statement under oath by an owner or officer verifying compliance with each of the minimum criteria in Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, subdivision 3. No bids will be considered unless accompanied by a bidder's bond naming the City of Savage as obligee, certified check payable to the City Clerk of the City of Savage or a cash deposit equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, which shall be returned or forfeited as set forth in the Information for Bidders. The Council reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three lowest bidders for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. Complete digital project documents are available at www.questcdn.com. A contractor may view the contract documents at no cost prior to becoming a planholder. Input the QuestCDN project number 10024589 on the website's projects search page to download the digital documents for $27.00. Contact QuestCDN Customer Service Support at 952-233-1632 or info@questcdn.com for assistance in membership registration, downloading digital project information and vBid online bid submittal questions. Project bid documents must be downloaded from QuestCDN which will add your company to the Planholder List and allow access to vBid online bidding for the submittal of your bid (which is required for this project). Bidders will be charged a fee of $42 to submit a bid electronically. For this project, bids will be received and accepted via the online electronic bid service through QuestCDN.com. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities and informalities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interests of the City.
